BYOBot is an AI system. It helps you design automation workflows for repetitive computer tasks, and it generates structured implementation guides ("bots") based on your description. Every response you receive, including the questions BYOBot asks you and the workflow specs it produces, is generated by a large language model. No human reads or writes your session.
BYOBot does not execute automations on your behalf. It produces instructions and prompts for you to use with other tools. Deciding whether to run them, and what happens when you do, is yours.
BYOBot's chat and build features are powered by Anthropic's Claude models, accessed through the Anthropic API. When you send a message, the contents of your conversation are transmitted to Anthropic for processing and the generated response is returned to you. The chat feature also uses Anthropic's built-in web search tool, which means a query derived from your message may be sent to a search provider when your question calls for current information.
Your use of BYOBot is therefore also subject to Anthropic's Usage Policy, and Anthropic's handling of the data we send them is governed by their own privacy policy and commercial terms. We do not store your conversations on our servers, and we do not use them to train any model. Because we send your input to a third party, do not paste passwords, API keys, payment details, health records, or anything else you are not free to share.
BYOBot is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic, and "Claude" and "Anthropic" are trademarks of Anthropic PBC used here only to identify the service we rely on. We may change model versions or providers at any time as the technology moves, and doing so may change the character of the output you get. Because a third party supplies the models, an outage, a policy change, or a rate limit on their side can interrupt or degrade BYOBot without notice.

You may use BYOBot for personal, professional, or commercial purposes. You agree not to use BYOBot to generate content that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, or that violates the rights of others. We reserve the right to suspend access for abuse or misuse without notice.
The following uses are explicitly prohibited regardless of intent or framing:
Violence and harm. You may not use BYOBot to design, plan, or facilitate automations intended to cause physical harm, damage property, support violent acts, or assist in any activity related to weapons, warfare, or the targeting of individuals or groups.
Deceptive social media automation. You may not use BYOBot to build bots that impersonate real people, operate fake or coordinated accounts, artificially inflate engagement metrics, or engage in any form of inauthentic behavior on social platforms. Automating your own legitimate accounts (scheduling posts, managing your own content) is fine. Creating personas that aren't you is not.
BYOBot's responses are generated by AI and may contain errors, outdated information, invented details, or suggestions that don't work as described. Language models produce a wrong answer with the same confidence as a right one, so tone is not a signal you can rely on. You are responsible for reviewing and testing any automation before using it in a real workflow. BYOBot is a starting point, not a guaranteed solution.

Some features (currently the Build function) require purchasing credits. Credits are non-refundable once used. Unused credits may be refunded within 7 days of purchase by contacting us at [email protected]. Credits are tied to your browser session: clearing your localStorage will lose access to unused credits, so contact us before doing so if you have a balance.
The automation blueprints and content generated for you by BYOBot are yours to use freely. BYOBot's interface, branding, and underlying prompts remain our property.
BYOBot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any generated automation will work as intended in your specific environment.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BYOBot and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or any automation you build using it.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of BYOBot after updates are posted means you accept the revised terms.
